Terms of Service
Last updated: 30/06/2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any project, agreement, or engagement with Studio Cultr ("we," "us," "the studio"). By engaging our services, you ("the client") agree to the following terms.
1. Contracts Required
No work will begin without a signed contract outlining the project scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing. Verbal or informal agreements are not binding until formalized in writing.
2. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total agreed project cost is required before work begins. The remaining 70% is due upon delivery of the final draft, unless otherwise specified in the signed contract.
3. Non-Refundable Deposit
The initial 30% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including project cancellation by the client after work has commenced.
4. Timeline
Projects are completed within the timeframe agreed upon in the contract. Delays caused by the client (late feedback, missing materials, changes in scope) may extend the original timeline.
5. Revisions
Revisions are included as outlined in the individual project contract. Requests beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges, to be agreed upon before further work begins.
6. Use of Work as Examples
Studio Cultr retains the right to feature completed projects, including visuals, copy, and deliverables, in its portfolio, website, and social media as examples of its work, unless the client requests confidentiality in writing prior to project completion.
7. Ownership and Usage Rights
Upon full payment, the client receives full usage rights to the final approved deliverables for their intended business purpose. Studio Cultr retains ownership of preliminary drafts, concepts, and unused designs. Studio Cultr also retains the right to reuse general techniques, processes, and non-client-specific elements developed during the project in future work.
8. Cancellation
If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the 30% deposit is forfeited as outlined in Section 3. Any additional work completed beyond the deposit at the time of cancellation will be invoiced based on work completed, due before any partial deliverables are released. Studio Cultr reserves the right to cancel a project if the client fails to provide necessary materials, feedback, or payment within a reasonable timeframe, under the same terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Studio Cultr will make every effort to deliver work to the agreed standard and timeline. However, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our deliverables, including loss of revenue, business, or data. Our total liability for any project is limited to the total amount paid by the client for that project.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
